Child, child of fearless eight
curiosity seals her fate.
Fairies, fairies everywhere;
under the bed, on the chair.
Whispers, whispers quiet and clear,
only for her little ears.
Fairies, fairies mill around,
in the walls, on the ground.
Friendship, friendship voices pleading
while scheming minds plan the feeding.
Fairies, fairies bold become
betraying aversion to light and sun.
Hunger, hunger ill-concealed
shrieks of terror from her throat pealed.
Fairies, fairies leave the hole,
to cut a dress a blade they stole.
Accused, accused, apologize
fiercely denied with anguished cries.
Fairies, fairies once awakened
"One life must be taken."
Secrets, secrets well exposed
of the girl they must dispose.
Fairies, fairies amass attack
lured to the fire place pitch black.
Young girl, young girl, teeth almost lost
but the fairies the girlfriend crossed.
Fairies, fairies locked away
behind the grate, await the day.
Girlfriend, girlfriend became a spawn
knows another day will dawn.
People, people without concern
