Description
I am not evil,I am their princess.
Cloaked in black
I stitch together tapestries
highlighting the elements
the light, the day, my sister
keeps at bay.
I mold the dark
every evening
into grandiose creatures
of friendship
just for them.
But they see monsters
and kindle nightlights
to fend us off
so they can frolic in their dreamlands.
Me, their princess!
Who only thought
of creating for them.
I am not evil,
they are.
They banished me.
I only tried
to make them see
the allure of the dark.
But no matter.
The Night cannot be restrained forever.
Everyone will love the dark hours.
They won't have a choice.
