Hey! Thanks so much for the critique! Yeah, I really had to research the Simpsons style to try and replicate it, though I think I might've gotten the background a little off.

Funny thing is, if it was a woman chocking a man there would be tuns of feminists saying how empowering it is.
It's like a villain isn't allowed to be a villain or something.

As a girl I actually find it more sexist that feminists want censorship like that and don't want female characters shown as having weaknesses or losing in battle.
That reminded me of that time they bitched about the Batgirl and Joker comic cover even though Joker is one of the most evilest villains ever in fiction and he's just doing his job as the bad guy, also he is pretty abusive towards Harley so why would he be any different towards any other woman?
I agree they love using the excuse "MINORITIES WERE OPPRESSED IN THE PAST" which is just stupid especially when it comes to a work of fiction

Oh I agree 100%. It's extremely sexist to demand special treatment based on one's sex. It's why I did the extreme version of Batgirl #41 Variant, to show how much worse it could've been.

Not to mention if it was a male character they wouldn't be bitching. Saying that a work of fiction promotes violence against women is really stupid (I might even say the r word that triggers a lot of people)...it's retarded. Even when it does happen it's not the works fault , it's the person fault for trying to re and act something that isn't real and not being able to tell the difference between fantasy and reality.
This maybe off topic but I also hate how most modern shows and movies that star a female lead have to hammer in the fact that it stars a woman. Like with Ghostbusters 2016, Captain Marvel, Batwoman and most recently Charlie's Angels. Using someone's sex as a marketing point is sexist and pandering imo

They feel power in expressing outrage and people bending over backwards to appease them. The best way to approach people like that is to laugh and not give in.
I also agree. Having a female cast doesn't automatically make it good. Case in point, the god-awful Ghostbusters 2016 movie.

The thing with SJW"s is that they go from being easy to laugh at (Trigglypuff and Zarna Joshi) to being just shitty people . But yeah I agree most of those types of people are pretty easy to laugh at
Also the new Star Wars movies has a female lead and those movies are bad imo I also just find Rey to be a really boring character, she has no personality outside of being a strong woman. Even though I wasn't crazy about Alita Battle Angel (it was okay imo) but I liked how unlike Captain Marvel and most recently Batwoman and the Charles Angels remake, it didn't use it's female lead(s) as it's selling point. I may love strong female characters and all but I like it when they have a personality outside of being a strong woman
One of my favorite youtube channels "Dr Shaym" made a great video about strong female characters.
Here is the link in case you haven't watched it yet

Main character repeatedily stranggles his own son - Nothing
Main villain chokes character that just so happens to be female - Triggered feminist yell on tumblr
So long as men are the only ones depicted of being physically harmed, feminazi's don't care.

Pretty much! You can either have equal treatment or be able to punch up, but not both.

It was still a damn weird way to advertise a superhero movie. How many others had a billboard of someone getting choked?

None that I can think of, but in my opinion, that made it stand out and be all the more effective.

Okay, if you say so. I thought it just looked out of place. Like rainbows and butterflies in an ad for a Horror film. Or karate hi jump kicks in an ad for a Romance.

Believe me as a comics fan, if you read up up on HALF of the stuff Mystique has done, strangling is too good for her.

How is that relevant to a movie adaptation? Or advertisement for said movie adaptation?

Because you can have men killed in dozens of horrible, screaming ways (like for example bury a guy in a wall, or a dozen of them alive in concrete. Geez that was pure nightmare fuel), break mens bones, stabbed, gored by adamantium claws. But show Mystique being choked and suddenly it's all up in arms?
They did get the part were Apocylaose was super obviously evil right? God complex? Tried to brainwash everyone in the world? Planned to kill millions? What did they expect him to do? Ignore her? Casually backhand her away? Or would that still be too much?

Omg, this is awesome. I had no idea this existed. Equality is standing back and letting good guys and bad guys fight it out lol. I mean, it's a very striking scene. I have not, unfortunately, seen the movie.

I'm really sick of these SJW pieces of shit who get offended so easily. It's always "this is racist/this sends a bad message to kids/I'm a woman"

As much as I'm against violence against women, I would rather punch an SJW feminist in the face than apologise to sensitive crybabies who use "I'm a woman" to be offended by something for hurting their wittle feewings.
