Painting of Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi.I wanted to illustrate, in a simple manner, the concept of him meditating and becoming one with the Force.
I have recently learned a new painting technique and this is my first finished deviation making use of what I learned. I like the final result, and it allows me to work much quicker than usual.
It goes without saying that this is another homage to one of my favourite artists, Alphonse Mucha.

Fantastic work! Love the way he blends with the background slightly - really gives the feeling for becoming one with everything around him. He is definitely part of the Force here. Also, I like the stone kind of texture throughout the piece; very earthy, very solid, like Obi-Wan generally is, and I think it is this kind of essence that he draws from the Force. Wonderful, powerful picture - great job!

WOW! LOVE IT! GREAT JOB! A great tribute to one of my favorite characters (the other being the awesome Grand Master Luke Skywalker). I like how you did the back ground from a faint lilac outline of Obi-Wan's body to a darker purple of the main backgroun. Great work.

Well, that makes sense since Klimt was part of the Art Nouveau movement, like Mucha, although Klimt's work is more symbolic.
