This doesn't bother me as much as other genderbent things, probably because I was thinking 'Newt kinda acts like a girl' during the movie.

Now THIS is how to do a genderbend! You did a great job capturing the character's personality and keeping it intact, without falling into the "sexy no jutsu" trap. Kudos!

I usually don't look at many genderbends, but you did a really good job here by keeping Newt's personality vivid in this picture.Β I love her startled facial expression for this really dramatic scene from the movie.Β And great colors!Β The colors on this piece are really vivid and bring this to life.Β Once I saw the bright oranges, yellows, and well-shaded person, I HAD to click on the picture.Β Thank you for sharing and yay Pacific Rim!!!
