really? they always looked more lemon yellow to me in a metallic appearance.

and the color of Shuichi's hair also regularly shifts in tone. but it's still considered rose red, and youko's eyes are described as amber-gold in mimicry of that of a fox. Togashi just kinda sucks at maintaining shades.
