OK, this is more stuff in support of my Victory Road Webcomic .

This time we get a look at Archer going through a bit of training from his Blackthron City Mentor, Clair. Those of you that read through some of the extra bio material I gave Archer a little while ago, will recall that Archer grew up in the Blackthorn City. Like many of the children of the fabled city, Archer spent his first few years as a trainer learning as much as he could from the resident gym leader before heading out on his Pokemon Journey. In this pic, let’s just say Archer came back for a quick refresher course.

I like this drawing. Nothing like an Ice Beam at 1500 feet to make you feel alive. Flygon and Archer are always fun to draw, but I have to admit Clair and Dragonair have their own special charm. I wouldn’t mind tackling them again in the future.

I’m really happy with this picture as a whole. I think I managed to get a good sense of depth to the image and the characters came out great.
