You know, that's the first time I seen pixel art combined with textures, nice!

Haha thankyou so much for not getting stuck into me (and for the kind comment)! I really want to make a picture book, I just have to get a story together. It might be pixel based, or maybe just hand drawn.

If you could get the hand drawn/pixel based parts balanced, it could be really nice! You could try using a sponge and a stencil. If you wrote a basic story about the Dinosaur in your original piece, I think it'd make a beautiful children's story!
Have a look at binding techniques, I've looked at a few during my last uni module of this term, and making a book made a change from all the posters I've made!

Great ideas mate! The sponge idea is really good - I might just try it... I love book binding, by the way. I too did some for a uni assignment... time consuming, but great fun.

I'd love to see this in book form, if you were to make it a book and needed any crit I'd love to help!
On a semi-related point, how did you resize the pixels? When I use Photoshop to resize them, it tries to smooth it by blurring.

You have to select "nearest neighbour" instead of "bicubic intoperlation". Photoshop defaults to a resize method that is more suited to photographs and drawings.

That is so sweet. The texture looks great and the colours work really well together.
And is that an arrow on him?
