Description
I've decided to name him Vrees. I tweaked his appearance a bit (tattoos, sword, armor). overall this was fun to draw, but damn the canvas size was HUGE like 7000x4000 huge, and the moon was hard as sh*t to make. tell me what you think!

Ooooh such pretty colors I really like how you use the teal for the highlight, it is so much more dynamic than just white or grayand makes it almost seem glowing. And I'm really liking the transparency in the moon, it's a very neat effect!

This is pretty good! I am struggling to find anything wrong with it: everything is there and where it is supposed to be, the proportions are good, the highlights and shadows look good: I like how you have taken the moonlight into account, it is not missed out anywhere: even the little bit of the blade that is shown... although, that blade: is it a katana? If it is, then you need to draw the rest of it: it is too short for it to stop behind his arm.
The only other thing I would criticize is the cape... you need to rethink that one... it needs folds in it and the tears in the fabric need to look a little more realistic: at the moment it looks like cheese... Have a look at some reference pictures: fabric folds are not easy, but I am certain you can do better.

The character design looks unique with the teeth like mask and the light blue tattoos that seem to glow when the moon seems to reflect on them. However I think with a little bit more practice the cape could be improved as it seems a bit stiff towards the ends.

I can't remember what I have, but there's only a couple drawings I want to share. I'm practicing so I can draw my characters without frustration. Haha I've been sort of busy with unpacking stuff but I'll try to get stuff up soon!

Its about humanity being on the brink of extinction, there are giant human-like monsters called titans, who eat people, so they built giant walls to keep them out. I don't want to spoil too much, you should check it out though. its relatively short (about 25 episodes), Its freaking intense, Once the show picks up steam you wont be able to stop watching 10/10 if you ask me. I know I sound like i'm worshiping it, but its really that good XD. I heard it was on Netflix now but you can find it online too.

You have clearly focused on the colours and character representation of this piece, composition is also quite good, although I feel that you should have had some space ahead of the character not behind and have the moon on the other side, or something else along those lines, experiment!
I also feel that your character feel stiff and lacks the detail that would really separate him from the background, and the stars in the background are more of a distraction then anything. You should have less of them with slightly more detail then just dots in the sky. The shading is also somewhat off, but I can see why you have done this, as you have not gone for a realistic approach.

Indeed, but if you keep practicing it helps. Just start observing everything around you, watch how fabric moves in the wind, how light falls on certain objects and so on and start thinking about how you could draw it in your mind. You should also draw each day, just little sketches, give yourself a goal each day even if they look like shit.
