Awesome character! Lovin' the patina you got on that armor and shield. It really helps to make things pop!

I love the Persian and Bronze Age influence in the armor design. Excellent piece.

No problem! For a moment, I doubted myself in the origins of the armor design when that Birdtear guy said it was Arabic, not Persian. If it's not too bold to ask, is it Persian influenced or is it Arabic? Personally, I don't recall ever seeing any Arabic armors that looked anything like this.

It's pretty much Persian. But there are couple Arab bits of costuming that I think I incorporated. I rarely use one single source when I'm creating costuming. And since it's in a fantasy setting it doesn't have to strictly be one of the other.

I mean, I've seen several Arabic armors, and they don't really look anything like this. And I've been studying ancient armors since I was a child. I wasn't really associating any of it with generalized Islamic traditions at all. I was focused more on the Bronze Age aspects of the armor, and the Persian influenced elements. I wasn't saying that the armor was specifically Persian, as this is a fantasy character, and as the artist stated, it can draw influence from many different cultures. I was merely pointing out that there was Persian influence present in the piece. I did not mean to offend anyone, and if I unintentionally did so, then I apologize. But based on the shield and shoulder pauldron designs, as well as the neck piece and scabbard, it appeared to be heavily influenced by various ancient Persian cultures, and possibly some Assyrian if I am remembering correctly.

offend ? hehe no not at all . well some parts can be similar yeah i agree but not completely . i mean i never seen a shield close to be like that in the old pictures i have from the ancient Persia soldiers .

It is a pretty unique shield, but the green areas indicate it has bronze and/or copper in its construction.
