these two have an odd relationship thats for sure one minute they are trying to kill each other and than the next they are teaming up to save earth realm if theres an evil worse than ever that can kill all the heroes and villians than mileena will team up with her sister

Hardly. The whole damn thing ends with time being reset to pave the way for yet another damn reboot, so itβs not like anything in MK11 or the previous games matters at this point.
My running theory is that Mileena and every other character not on the roster are all hiding out in Mokapβs coffee shop waiting for all this to blow over.

I have three major issues with that gameβs story:
1. The over-reliance on Quan Chi to facilitate to the plot, to the point where he practically supplants Shang Tsungβs role in the original trilogy and Shao Kahn is reduced to a moron to accommodate him.
2. The opening. The wholesale slaughter of every original timeline character in the most anticlimactic, depressing, downright offensive ending to an ongoing storyline Iβve ever seen. Everything these characters had been through from MK1 to Armageddon and then......nothing. They all died. The whole damn thing was pointless.
3. The deaths of the heroes and their subsequent transformations into revenants. Not only does Sindel massacring them all really make no sense, but it serves as essentially a dead end for their character development as all but two of them spend the rest of the NRS trilogy as asshole zombies who never move forward as characters.
