Description My Mortal Kombat Perler Bead Sprite collection thus far. Sorry for the redundant pictures of my past collection, I just wanted to have a group shot for the first time on Mortal Kombat. More to come on this outrageous and addicting hobby from February 2009!

Dude i love the ultimate mortal kombat 3 Scorpion and subzero. did you simplify the color pallet before doing them?? I can't really tell. When I zoom it gets grainy. i'm trying to make my own from that game; thats why i ask.

Thank you VERY kindly for noticing the scorps and subbies Strangely, I have no program to simplify the colors ( I bet it would save me LOADS of time though), I just use the "trial and error" method and guessing ( which means a lot of switching the colors out, which can make me cry like a newborn baby when making these ) I'm sorry for my poor photography skills, when I work on these, I usually begin with darkest beads, then try to work my way up to the lightest beads, then I look at what I done, and keep on comparing it to the original sprite, then I start switching out colors in certain areas I want or noticed more than others to the specific area etc. I wish I can make a pattern to show the blueprint to one of these ( I never done a pattern before, but I can give a shot i guess.....)

Well as an artist, you are much more critical about your own art than others...I am somewhat satisfied with what I posted, but ALWAYS see the need to change EVERY ONE OF MINE to make them better somehow. HOWEVER, every time I see someone else's work, It's F@*#IN BEAUTIFUL! Its always a breath of fresh air, and NO MATTER WHAT, OTHERS ALWAYS KEEP ME IN AWE! I WANT MORE!!!! That is why I mainly do bead sprites, to celebrate early digital artwork that other's did (in a collaborative effort - which is sometimes better in some ways, but not always) that inspired me this time. Dylrocks95, this guy is a genius! he constantly pops out beautiful works like a machine ; Turricanbronko can create video games that are somewhat seducing to me to play; Roy-Swordsman, another genius who creates OUTFITS for cosplay, OUTFITS!, and they are AWESOME! and you; I can't get over the AVATAR drawing , not to mention your Remillia Scarlet Bead Sprite, and your ELECTRIC MIKU - which I would personally love to see on my wall reacting with black light, glowing!!!!!! and of course the KEN Bead Sprite (I cried to sleep on that one because you don't have it anymore, but I'm okay now) I hope this does not sound strange, but I have an addiction to other's artwork. I always have ever since I was in grade school. You very much SHOULD have LOTS of credit, because what you post, is your passion, and it is "your take" on what your interests are and puts it in a fresh perspective, which is quite entertaining to me, therefore, your passion is very contagious

That is true. I am always critical of my own work. There's always something I can add to it or remove. I like looking at other people's work too. There are so many good artists out there with so many unique ideas! Its great! Haha My electric Miku would look cool glowing. I'm glad you appreciate not only our own art but the art of others too

I REALLY hope you make a Goro, I would REALLY love to see it!
P.S. I remember you once mentioned about making a Liu Kang Awhiles back. Are you still interested in doing that?
Good to hear from you buddy! I'll drink a toast (just coffee) to you. Cheers!
