Description My aim was to make an interior based on a Japenese room, only reference picture used found here stuck to the basic layout, few things changed - Most textures used from Total Texture Discs. Rendered in VRay.

Render time : 32mins 31 secs

no, all vray mats - then directional yellow light coming from the left (out from view)

wow; i actually like yours better...before i saw the reference image, i was gonna say that it wouldnt work structurally as the 'beams' supporting the roof structure seem a bit to shallow to hold that much weight, but apparently it works...lol...nice work +fav

The wood looks really nice, and the lighting is realistic. My only constructive criticism is that the floor looks a little bland.

the floor texture was made the same as the ref picture, I though of making it wood flooring with the black lines but though it would be overkill with wood textures, as there's a lot in scene. thx for the c
