Yeah, actually I did some figure studies for my drawing class and my art teacher is trying to get me to do some more and enter them in some high school art exhibition. I don't really want to do people, but I enjoyed working with the medium and am actually just starting on a arabian series which is going to have two charcoal studies which will be white charcoal on black paper, then in the middle of those two a black charcoal drawing on white paper.
I'm really excited about doing it - I want to hang them in my room when I'm done.
I was practicing with the white charcoal last night, and oh my goodness is that different. You have to completely reverse your thinking! @.@;

Oh thats so cool! I almost wish I was back in HS art so I could do something like that.
Really? I've never tried it I admit. perhaps thats because I'm poor and I've never owned black paper and the likes. Do I have white charcoal? I wonder. XD
Well that sounds great. It really does. I'm so proud of you for doing it all! Its so wonderful! Bring'n me back to the pleasure I did have in my HS art class.
