Revisited this concept yesterday, l’m actually surprised that I finished it in one sitting. They’re based on pine trees, goblins, wizards, and naturally, christmas trees. Initially figured it could become something akin to the Slakoth line since the final stage has limits due to its old age, but since I’m a sucker for multiple abilities, I made Wizage a slower tank while Goblink could be the speedy middle evo. And in case you missed it, Goblink does indeed remove one arm to use as a wand, which becomes a staff for Wizage.
Notable lack of moves: Being based on a wizard, you can justify plenty of special moves on it, so I’ll just list one it cannot have - Ice Beam. Ice covers both types that resists its STABs, Grass and Dragon, so given how much of a punch it packs with that special stat + Analytic, it’d be nice to have some somewhat safe switchins that can safely eat a Hidden Power Ice.
