Wow, I love the soft colors in the bg, the violetish goes surprisingly well with the brown, imo.
Also like the concept, I mean the format of it, and also those trees on sides, it looks more compact and closed, as if our attention was meant for those two C:

Okay, I got so excited that you actually posted art that I didn't say anything about the art itself, mainly that it's pretty. No, really -- the color palette here is really effective, what with all the grays and browns setting the mood. The primary colors of Stan and Kyle are muted the perfect amount, so that they seem to be vaguely of nature, rather than contrasting with it. Really, though, I think the best thing here is the light from behind the mountains -- I think it's sunset, and the way the receding light brings out the clouds is perfect. It's such a great shade of yellow, too. So happy you posted this.

Oh Sekrit, you flatta' me~! I'm really glad to hear you're liking the color scheme though, because I do this thing where I put violet in the shadows, and I'm always scared people are going to hate that.
Yeah. When the sun sets behind the mountains over here, there's this like, light yellow glow that appears behind them. It's gorgeous, and I haven't done it much justice, but I'm happy that you like it anyway.

Well, never having been to Colorado (except for this time I went to the movies in Vail, but it doesn't really count), I'm in no position to hold your picture up to the real thing. Suffice to say it works for me, at least on a representational level. I really like it. (And so would Kyle but he can't see it because he has no eyes.)

More accurately, Van Halen concerts smell like pot. Well, the appeal is that it makes you high, which most people find pretty good if not fabulous, but to get high you have to sort of work at it, unless you actually just eat the marijuana.
