Description

I do not make many knifes, that is an entirely different skill set from what I normally do but I am starting to like the way this one is turning out. Loosely based on the Vietnam era Air Force survival knife. A little touch up and my buddy Alex will finally get his knife. Alex was an Army Ranger that I worked with back in the day, when he asked for a knife, i couldn't say no. The blade is 5150, hand forged into shape, the handle scales might be purple heart, I am not sure they were in my wood pile. The knife is a beast because Alex will abuse it (blame the regiment for that) he can't help his destructive nature. At this point all that is left is light polish, sharpen and it will be done.
