Wow! Very well done! just great! Though the game's story was AWFUL, playing a video game as Galen was SO MUCH FUN! And with two lightsabers...SUPER FREAKING AWESOME!Β Β

I really liked the story of the first part. The second was more an attempt to carry on a finished story.
Still it was fun playing C:
and thanks! glad you like it

yeah. I agree totally! There was no need, except to fill something in to give an excuse for gamers to play Galen again, but with two lightsabers and better looking graphics...

He's been described as a photo negative variation of Luke Skywalker.Β You see him time and again attempting to please Vader even though he spends literally more than half of the first TFU as a pawn of Vader and by extension the Emperor.Β TFU presents the idea that the Empire created the Rebellion through Starkiller as a means to an end.Β He was suppose to lead them to their gallows instead his apparent death serves to galvanize them further.Β In the second TFU, we are met by this notion that Vader has attempted to repeatedly clone the late Starkiller, but invariably every clone succumbs to the perceived flaw of memories that drive each successive clone 'mad'.
Vader lies without remorse to Galen Marek and to Starkiller.Β So I mean I never really took the clone assertions seriously at first though I later thought does it really matter because fundamentally that which makes him like Galen Marek aka Starkiller is indestructible.Β Oh the body can be killed, destroyed, and the like though the essence of him is essentially unchangeable.
At the same time, for every clone that was too like the Galen Marek persona or Galen Marek Prime - there's the version that kills the angered Galen Marek/Starkiller in the Dark Side Ending of TFU 2.Β Still there's also the alternate story paths that spring from the DS ending of the first TFU.Β So yes, a dark more Sith like Starkiller ultimately replaces Darth Vader.
The first TFU DS ending even goes so far as to making him as Starkiller wind up in a suit that's mean to evoke the image of Darth Vader.
"You can either die a hero or see yourself live long enough to become the villain."

yeah I know all that I played both parts haha
That cloning part also really confused me. But I think that the was really a clone since in the bad ending of part two he is killed by his dark side clone.
But I liked that it wasn't clear the whole game, especially like you said, it didn't really matter.Β
Yeah I played all DLCs of the first one too and really liked them. But this whole thing with the lifesuit wasn't really necessary for me. seemed like a copy of the dath vader story... at least more than a replacement for it.
Would have liked it far more if he just turned evil like he was. Also he wasn't really a cyborg since you can see how he looks as dark side starkiller under his mask on the dlc level in the jedi temple.

The Darth Starkiller was only suppose to reveal himself if Starkiller tried to strike down his former master in anger.Β At least the challenge related locked content states as much when you see in panels of Darth Vader with Darth Starkiller.Β Of course its in those same panels that the apparent remains of Galen Marek are seen in a cryogenic stasis pod presumably within the cloning facility on Kamino.
Force users have been cloned before albeit in the EU novels written by Timothy Zahn.
Not every character who went to the dark side wound up in cyborg suits, but the suit itself is meant to represent a body size prison cell of the character's making.Β Its the thing that keeps his body functioning despite his or her talents for the Force.
Some characters if not most have found themselves in these suits against their own wishes.
In the Legacy comics, Cade Skywalker has an old friend put into one after she explicitly made it clear that she should be allowed to die and afterward she was very hostile to him for not following her wishes.

It's amazing how much you know about this whole thing haha
I just have seen the films and played this two games, still I am trying to read the clone wars comics at the moment.
I like the way you think about the suits. makes more sense. Still I don't get why Starkiller suddenly does the things the emperor wants from him after the bad ending in part one.
I read that he gives himself to the dark side because there is nothing left. Still this doesn't make any sense for me. At least I wouldn't help someone that took everything I love from me.

The suits are their body size prisons.Β Essentially consider how acrobatic and fanciful Anakin Skywalker is right up until the immolation scene in Revenge of the Sith versus how Darth Vader sounds while walking yet not speaking to anyone - you hear his labored breathing as if every breathe is a reminder of how colossally ruined he is for the path he chose to take with the best of intentions.Β The point is he was on a tight rope from the moment he left Tatooine as a boy and never once set foot on it again more or less after his mother was killed.
The point is that I thought it a mistake to separate him from his mother entirely.Β His attributes made him never quite his age and because children with force sensitivity usually were taken from their families at a much earlier age than he was - a concern some of the Masters vocalize when Qui-Gon brings him to them.Β There's so much he could have been, but people were chronically using him to their own ends eventually.Β The war were his trials and so he became a Jedi Knight in trials by fire.
The second point is that the Emperor had a rather common way of making every apprentice dependent on him by way of the Rule of Two - virtually every apprentice we see him have is slain by a Jedi and sometimes that apprentice was previously a Jedi.Β Count Dooku aka Darth Tyranus overestimated his standing with Darth Sidious to his demise - every apprentice that fell was in a larger scheme someone to bring the desired successor to the forefront where he could be broken at his or her most vulnerable moments.Β
It is not what he could take away from them, but what they believed he could give them in exchange for their service.
