------------------------------------------------------

This has been my animation project for the semester. It don't look like much, but god damn did it take a long time and a lot of work.
I don't like that certain frames are sloppy-looking, but there wasn't a lot I could do about it with all the screwing-up that the various computers in the animation building were doing.

My original concept of it is as a credit sequence as if for a movie about Quartier, which is where all the silhouetted characters come from. This is only one small piece of the entire sequence, and of course credits would be playing at the same time, but that's how it goes.
The characters involved are Clochette, Fifi (mine), Jaques, Mariah (both of whom belong to ), Nanette ( ) and the ever-present Marie-Suzette, who lives forever in all our hearts and minds.

Thanks to my friends for patiently awaiting its completion, and I hope you like it. It's my first-ever legitimate animation attempt, drawn entirely with pencil and ink on a lightboard and shot on a lunchbox with an animation camera, then touched up in After Effects.

Oh awesome! You got some great readable silhouettes and posing there! It's matched nicely to the music too n.n With a few refinements in pacing, overlapping/secondary action, and a few more tweens, this would be spotless! Love it though; it was clear and fun. I especially loved the dog's animation! Super cute!

This is so amazing, and I'm so so so so happy to see you animating again. The music choice is great -- I recognized it, I just can't place it for the life of me right now -- and I like the multicolored backgrounds. Omgggg though the actual animations are really smooth, like Fifi and Jaques, and Clochette and ahhhhh I love that even though you used silhouettes, you can tell exactly what's going on.

Fantastic work, and I look forward to seeing more in the future
