One of them kind of looks like it's going into space. It's a speed hole.
I want to say, again, how radtastic this is. I love all the little details. The pose, the expression, the papers, gah, everything. That scene was one that I had a really strong mental visualization for, and this fits in with it perfectly. And despite what you say, I like how the cockpit looks. The window is super sexy.
