I really really enjoy this artwork, I like the dark tones around his eye and the tired look. The light and colours add a lot to the somehow eerie atmosphere and the texture in the background fits very well. I absolutely love the elegant and cold look of Machete!

The artwork of yours never stop to amaze me. It doesn’t get old, and I simply walk through your gallery from time to time. Seeing the progress you’ve made through years, the way you made from character drawings to something more deep and symbolic makes my soul shiver.
I have a simple question, though the answer may be “experience”, but how do you come up with colours for your art pieces?

I think this is one of my favorite pieces of Machete. The way the shadows are cast on his face with the hints of light and the sharp darkness create such nice contrast and balance. Also love the inverted splatters divided on the one side while there is a orb of light on the other. I don't know how you do it with capturing so much emotion and atmosphere without being too complex and cluttered like other artists' works I have seen, but my gosh, your work is exquisite. Everytime I see Machete, I just think of the theme from the Borgias; it seems to fit his character in my opinion.
