Description ...those eyes?

*finally* finished Basset Hound portrait. I love doing these portraits, they're fun Yes, I know the background isn't very exciting, oh well

The white fur didn't scan very well This looks better in real life

Oh, the smudge in the corner is where I signed my name on the actual picture, but I replaced it with my watermark for dA. I smudged out my name because on top of each other they looked odd

Question: would anyone ever be interested in a pet portrait commission(or trade, maybe) like this? That doesn't mean I'm opening them right now, I'm just curious, and may open them sometime in the near future.

*gasp* Beautiful!!! The background may not be exciting, but it's wonderfully handled. The gradual fading of the blue is nice! The shading looks awesome too. Great drawing.

The detail in the shading of the fur is amazing, absolutely beautiful.
