Here we have Buffy and her two vamps.You'll notice a distinct Spike leaning in my work as more gets put up. He was (is) my favourite character and I only watched the show because of him. James Marsters has the most amazing face... At least, that's my excuse for drawing him so much. I'm not obsessed or anything - really, I'm not.
Done with the usual full range of pencils on plain white cartridge paper. The edges are kind of cut off 'cause I couldn't get it all to fit on the scanner. Buffy's hair actually curls around the outside of Spike and Angel's faces. Need to use a smaller sheet of paper, I guess, or learn to scan in sections.

Always, always start with the eyes (they should be the focal point for any portrait), and basically just keep drawing.
People are always saying, "Wow, I can't draw like that." Neither could I, once. The only way to get better is to practice. Good luck.

Spike (James Marsters) was also the only reason I watched both shows. He's got so many sides to him (sexy badass, total goofball, romantic, etc). He is yummy too...
