Description
Acrylic paint on board. Original size 360mm x 610mm.I decided to take the New York Punk Spike of 1977 and bring him forward a couple of years. This is mid-80s Spike in all his leather-clad glory.

This is one of my all time favourite portraits of Spike. I absolutely love it, excellent work. Lovin' the rocker look. Very much like the touch of the leather glove and his hands on his belt. Facially you've caught him perfectly.
I found this on here a short while a go, and have now joined so I can comment. I am very surprised though that no-one has commented on this since 2006, especially since it comes up in the first page in a search for Spike.

James Marsters has a small scar through that eyebrow that they exaggerated for the show. In Spike history - he got it from a sword fight with the first Slayer he killed in China in 1900.
