Wow, that is really quite a detailed image you have there! (I hope the Incendia 1.2 beta comes out soon, I would love to try it out!)

If I may ask, the overall shape looks very similar to Sierpinski's triangle. Did you use that as the basis for your image?

Thank you yes, It will be released tomorrow I think and yes there are a couple of Syrp's in there! I will post a link in my journal most likely tommorow if all goes well.

The best way is to render some thing and save it both ways.(2 pictures are worth a thousand words) The first thing you will notice is PerPixAO takes a Long time to save, so start with a small image (2K). Thats because Incendia does a calculation for each pixel by taking a number of (samples=200) within a (radius of 30)pixels to more accurately display the image (each pixel). this is a good example(under render) [link] you can see the definition. The # of samples & radius are variables, smaller of course will speed it up. So its a trade off, if you have patience your images will be sharper and cleaner
