haha. I can tell you, whenever a storm like that moves accross the airfield everyone sits in the club house saying 'yeah, should be gone soon' and then another 20mins goes by...

In my city are also forming rain clouds, they look so beautiful *O*, with lovely texture, it hurts at the moment I do not have my camera, but anyway, at least I'll settle for seeing pictures as extraordinary as this, I love clouds, I live in one, but I fear that fall are not solid

I was flying in a C150. The other aircraft was a diamond twin star.

Love the way it's framed by the darker cloud. Can't see any critters in the shape though.

I missed all this Up at WildTracks we seem to have our own climate on site. We watched it rain in the areas all around the site, but we remained dry and pretty sunny. When I left this evening, it was still dry and sunny but I got 5 miles down the A14 and hit a wall of solid rain! I wish it would cool down a bit. I have a weather station thingy in my bedroom and it's still showing 23 deg C with a humidity of 59% (temp storm alert). The barometric pressure's stable and level at 1006 though

Jeeze! What an absolute GEEK I am, LOL

haha Dont worry, in the end we didnt really get much. Most of it seemed to be out towards cranfield.
Sounds like you had a lucky escape until you drove home

haha that sounds pretty good! I'd love to have one of them. Would be fun to see how much it differentiates between Cranfields. You know its out if it indicates 1006 and Cranfield is 1025 haha.

Plenty of fluffy clouds around today but no storms forcast as far as I know.

I can't remember where I bought it but it only cost me about £14. Useful little gadget.

I think I may have bought it from Lidl's in Kempston. Seems to ring a bell somewhere in my addled brain.

It comes with an external sensor so gives internal and external temperatures, barometric pressure - also gives the trends for both, ie, whether it's increasing or decreasing; accurate time, cos it's radio controlled, phases of the moon, sunrise and sunset times to your neares city (London) and has a picture of a little froggy to show predicted weather: bright sun, cloud or, if it's gonna rain, he has an umbrella Nice, simple, useful bit of kit.
