Random Pokémon nr. 2. This is Drifloon, everyone, and it seems to consist of a purple balloon fixed with yellow tape and a cloud turd on top of it all. REALLY. This is about as realistic as it can get. The original design actually has eyes as well, and I thought about them for a while, and then it occurred to me that balloons actually don't have eyes, uh, hello, and I left them out. (Dear Pokédex, just let me draw some good old-fashioned first generation Pokémon next, pleeeaaaseeeee..)
But, a challenge’s a challenge, and I can always celebrate this being the first drawing in my new sketching book! I’m in love with it already, the paper feels good to draw on and somehow the colouring pencils seem to work with it very nicely.
Pencil and colouring pencils and an absurd amount of wondering who makes these things up! A balloon... oh boy.
