Description
And after successfully drawing one nice Pokémon somewhat realistically, let’s go back to boring blobs you really can’t get anything out of. The sixth of ten is Manaphy. Ta-dah! I must have looked horribly disappointed when I got this... it’s just one of those new generation lumps that are somehow completely mythic and epic and rare and still look like the most boring things ever. Like, what’s that crap about Manaphy not evolving from or to anything when it still somehow produces Phione, which anyway looks just like a stage of a Manaphy line if it existed? What? Urrrgh...
Manaphy didn’t inspire me at all when I got it and still doesn’t, but I read something on Bulbapedia about ‘round 80% of it consisting of water, and I wanted to draw and colour it like it was water, or made out of water, it’s antennas swaying with the currents of the ocean or whatever water system it lives in. But it still was so ungrateful to draw that I even composed a bit of a background for once. Whoa.
Pencil, colouring pencils and a touch of ink this time! Dear Pokédex, give me something decent next time...
