This is really lovely and I liek the movement.
I just thought I should remind you (since apparently you havent read the rules and everyone else is abiding by them) that youre not supposed to post your entry to any other group for the duration of the contest apart from realm-of-fantasy...

Edit the deviation and there are X's next to each group. Just remove all groups except realm-of-fantasy. I'm glad I noticed, you mightve been disqualified if theyd seen x_x

The point of that particular rule is because the competition is hosted by this particular club and they probably want the entries to be exclusive to their gallery. It may also be to put everyone on an equal ground statistically, although some deviants are more popular than others and are bound to have higher statistics because of that so I doubt it.

Well yeah, but the fact is, that the deviation itself is not exclusive to any club, since it's there for absolutely anyone to see, basically submitting it to a club is like just submitting a link to it so it really has no impact on anything, also the fact that some pieces are more popular than others should be completely irrelevant to the contest and the judging, therefore I see no purpose for this rule, however I will abide by it.

I know but its kind of the same as with deviantart official contests and their rule. Almost always, they ask you not to put any watermark or signiature or identifiable mark on the image. They have their reasons but a lot of people dont really understand why. Its just one of those things - and so is this

Well that actually has a point, since the judges on those contests are not part of Deviant art, so there should be no signature or any kind of identifiable mark so the judges won't be biased to any kind of particular person if they do not know who the piece belongs to. This doesn't apply to the usual dA contests since they pretty much know who it belongs to when u post it.

Perhaps, but some people even have their name as their username so that is probably not true. It's probably more to do with the fact that they intend to use your work to profit them in some way and they dont want to give you the prize just to find that you refuse to remove your watermarks.

I'm... confused. Are we talking about the same thing? I was referring to the official dA contests, like the Darksiders fan art contest or The Witcher fan art contest or stuff like that, where the judges of those contests have nothing to do with dA. I am pretty sure they can't use your entry in any profitable way without your consent, nor would they need to. Contests are contests, not art thefts.

I'm talking about the others such as the sony contests - a third party coming into dA. But the fact still remains with the contests held by deviants - theyre going to be looking at entries on the actual persons page whether the deviation has been added to their favourites or has been added to a gallery folder so they are still going to know exactly who they are and can still play favourites despite what you said (though that wasnt my focus).
