Description One more Goku for my gallery because apparently I don't have enough of him in there and also because I couldn't resist to color ~Toralien 's lineart (I just hope she doesn't mind).

Indeed, Paint Tool Sai has some lovely watercolor textures, I though it was nice to make use of them here xD

You should. From all the art softwares I've tried (and I've tried a lot of them: Photoshop, Gimp, Paint.NET, Painter, Open Canvas,etc who name it) , it was the easiest to learn and with better and faster results. Plus, it's light for my poor old computer.

And you can always use both programs together. You can start something on SAI and export it as a psd file and continue in Photoshop, you know to add effects and gradients and such. Because SAI doesn't have those.

This is absolutely amazing! It looks like you have color Goku's hair and clothes with water colors and his skin with computer But you surely have color this whole pic with computer... right? Right? xD
I don't know how you do it, but you always make Goku's skin glow and that's something what I really like ~ And the little changed style of your coloring is beautiful. I truly TRULY love it! 8D

Wish that I could learn and change my coloring skills that fast XD
But once again you both have done amazing work! Excellent!

Yeap, everything in here was colored with the computer, as usual I don't think I changed my coloring style at all. I did everything like I've been doing for a while now. The only thing I did was to add a bit of watercolor texture, something very easy to do with Paint Tool SAI. And for the glowing skin (it's not only on the skin but since the skin is the thing with lighter color it looks like it glows more) the only thing I did was duplicate the layer (after merging all the layers), setting it to "overlay". Then I applied a bit of gaussian blur on Photoshop and lower the opacity of the layer. And that's it.

Anyway, boring details aside, I'm glad you like it. Your comments are always a pleasure to read

I have to say that I didn't understand much of that :'D But it sure has make the art look great I haven't use paint Tool SAI, but I saw it once when my sister used it with her computer. It looked so difficult that I haven't been thinking of even trying it

Ahh, it might have sound complicated but it is really easy. SAI is super easy to use. And that part about gaussian blur and stuff was done in Photoshop, actually. SAI doesn't have filters.

I see But maybe SAI would be easier to use also if a artist would have a tablet? Because I don't have it I draw with my hands and color with a mouse in photoshop :'D

You can also color in SAI with the mouse just as easily as you do it in Photoshop. But of course, with a tablet you can do it faster.
