That the globe is spun to North America is confusing to me. My initial reading of the painting was that China was eating the world, so "China = threatening" rather than "China = opportunity." It's not clear whether that's the PRC's hand or a Western investor's hand holding the chopsticks. Beautifully executed, though, sorry if I'm looking too much into it!
