As the glass began to break,

Cracks spread in the paint

My innocent eyes,
Too young to realize
All your promises?
Were such cruel, empty lies.

You glance in a vanity mirror,
Shameless, guiltless, proud.
My shards and remnant pieces?
Reflect a girl with needs too loud.

Stop making holes with vacant stabs,
Choking any chance to grow.

i just hear this small girl with confusion on heart and fear in her lungs, whisper behind her eyes:
