Well Apophysis is free and fun to use, sometimes you just have to be lucky to find the right fractal to ame a nebula... but I have abatch of them now so it makes it easier... then all you need is a Photoshop-type program and layer them together with stars and stuff....... so i would say fairly easy, but you do need to be able to visualize the potential in the fractal.....

There seem to be just a few spots near the plant and near the sun, where the nebula looks rather 'flattened'. Was that intentional from the light?
Just seems to make the nebula loose all of it's beauty from the lack of uniformity in composition.

nebulas, magnetics and flaring outgasing, creating an almost aurora effect coming from the nebula's center.......
And all critiques are welcome, otherwise how can i improve?...
