Amazing atmosphere of threatening doom. You managed to get some great and natural-looking cloud covering here without any artefacts. Wonderful job!

Thanks!!! Most artifacts you see are in Terragen, and even then it occurs when they render it too small.. If you render large enough and set your antialias high you can usually avoid those.. Mojoworld is a bit better than terragen for clouds.. This one is even better because it is a totally Volumetric World.... Hard a hell to get a good sense of what you are rendering until it is finished and extremely time consuming, but well worth the wait and work...

Definitely amazing clouds! And yeah, since I use larger terrains for Terragen there's much less problems with spiny triangles popping up... Thanks for the tip for the anti-alias setting!

I find the best rule of thumb is to render the pic twice as large as you want it, ie, 2048x1536 to get a 1024x768, just reduce it down by 50% and sharpen it a tad... gets rid of almost all spiny triangles and pixelation..

Right now I work for Lowe's Home Improvement, but I am retired from nursing and teaching.... and hopefully by this time next year I will retire from Lowe's and then i can dedicate myself entirely to graphics...woohooo,, well that and my new grandchild who will be here by then.. hehehehehe.....
