Description A distant storm, rakes the landscape
with its scouring rain, laying bare the rock beneath...
And frigid air freezes it back to icy starkness,
giving no quarter to renewing life......

But wise grandma froggies dont use terragen, they use Mojoworld... whole different can of worms.. Terragen wont have overhang or volumetric capabilities until TG2,, and lord know when that will come out.... Thanks!

Very excellent mojo render! I love the landforms/textures. Awesome clouds too! Mojoworld exported terrains are some of my favorites to work with in Terragen.

Have you ever considered adding actual rain on the pictures? give it a try one time. No-one will think bad of you

Great work on this peice btw

Casperium In reply to Soul-Divider [2006-08-27 22:16:46 +0000 UTC]

Actual rain? I dont think i would know how to go about doing that.. got any ideas? or do a collab and show me what it would look like..
thanks!!!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Soul-Divider In reply to Casperium [2006-08-28 11:13:45 +0000 UTC]

Nah, there's not much I can offer in the way of a collab, however I know how to add a rainy effect,

Add some noise (monochromatic) and just add a motion blur on a slant angle like: \
(that's for photoshop) it's a realsonable effect, and can look very convincing if done right

You must enjoy being bored while your computer is busy rendering this stuff!!

Seriously, those clouds are great and it must take forever to do that.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Casperium In reply to elementc [2006-08-27 17:24:53 +0000 UTC]

That is why i have 2 computer.. actually 3 once I set up my hubby's old one...or I set it up to render before i go to work or to sleep... hehehehehe and this one didnt take very long at all.. about 2-3 hours, the darker clouds are easier to render than the fluffy white ones.. thanks!!!!
