Q: Why use a cliche subtitle like βRevelationβ?
Bassett: βRevelationβ; it makes sense to me and I have my reasons but at this early stage I wouldnβt be surprised if things change down the line. Youβre right, it is a little ubiquitous. So maybe something more singular arise. Finally though, titles and things like that tend to be decided by distributors. Theyβll use what they think will get the widest possible audience interested.

I've only played Silent Hill Origins.
There wasn't much on plot detail but I did like the gameplay.

Origins is a good game. I think each of the Silent Hill games is really good for one reason! C:
It's a chance RE and SH isn't the same thing... x) Even if RE is a good game, it is not scary at ALL, and the plot is more action oriented that psychological. D:

How could they dislike it? It was awesome! The silence of the mansion, the atmosphere, the thunder raging outside, hearing Lisa's moans and the rustle of her chains, learning the secrets of the mansion and the fate of its architect, the darkness of the woods outside and fearing what could come out.
One thing I found annoying was the zombie with the grenades on him...
Still, everything was so good and it still has impressive graphics. There's also the factor of conserving ammo, avoiding zombies so you don't have to kill them and use up kerosene. Crimson Heads... always something to be afraid of. The rustle of the doors, knowing there's something on the other side...
What the hell was wrong with the game?! It was excellent!!

I liked the gameplay, but I couldn't understand the story very well. A town that's freaky, misty and filled with monsters, has a hellish alternate reality and a cult that seems interested in some pyramid shaped artifacts and a girl with 3rd degree burns.
I remember at the end, a child was born somehow and somebody picked it up. At least, that was what was said on a radio.
I tried to see that ending again but each time I beat the game again, I get the bad ending. >.<
What was with that nurse who seemed totally oblivious to the nightmares around them?
Perhaps the story will be easier for me to understand if I play the first game, since I know the events that led up to it.

Oh, you sure HAVE to play SH1 now! d: Some things will be explained (or even more unclear...), and you'll have a lot of explanations for Alessa and Lisa for example.
The bad ending is too easy to have, because we always try to kill the maximum of creatures we can. If you want the good ending, escape! C:
But this game is supposed to be kind of hard to understand. It's PSYCHOLOGICAL! *creepy face* xD I really like all the SH. x) I know each of the games almost by heart, and I've only played three of them! xD
