So I've been genuinely impressed by the complex and entertaining back stories that so many people write for each of their works. I'm not nearly that imaginative, however this picture has a story too. It's not worth 1,000 words though:

There once was a girl with cool goggles.

Then I made her a cyborg.

Then I thought that she looked lonely.

So I gave her a kitty.

I decided to stick with the name Nouveau Witche, even though only one of my 17 year olds got the reference (the other looked at me like I might be having some sort of stroke). The idea was that, originally, it would be a cyborg doing magic. Since she's a cyborg however, the magic looks practically scientific. Maybe that's why the cat is so curious? Anyway, I did think she looked lonely and was considering giving her a happy little plant. However, my own cat was recently put on a diet and as a result, during the creation, she was being consistently and aggressively affectionate in an attempt to get me to feed her. So I settled on a kitty.

Once again, lighting is the bane of my existence, but this time I think the balance is just about right. I think I've done enough post-processing, but I'm neurotic, so I may upload a v.2 at some point, but I think it's time for me to work on something else for a while.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy. This is the first Sci-Fi piece I've done. Please leave feedback if you have any!
