I like the colors you used, and the simplicity of the forms. The texture in back is also good. I like how you did the hair, especially the curl around the ear-regions. I feel like the composition is a trifle unbalanced, though--either there's not enough space at the left, or the pic needs cropped a little at the right. But I really like the peaceful expression on the face.

Zoomed out it looks a bit better than zoomed in, where you can see more flaws in the painting... That said, I think it looks really really cool, though. It reminds me of a style of art done about a hundred years ago, that I saw in a museum with the angle and the elongated neck, and even the hairstyle. Basically it says to me if you keep on going with this I could see your art hanging up on a wall somewhere, too!

I think the part where the ear should be should have a slight dent-ish look to the hair.. but otherwise its all good

The constructive critique you wanted:
This is a nice old fashion style that has a charm all to it's self. The wallpaper pattern is nice a nice touch as well. The face work is simple but detailed at the same time with a subtle softness that brings it together. I do think that the hair could be more detailed with a strong contrast for the waves of her hair, but I suggest on keeping it soft and stylized like you have going on atm.

Wow, very beautiful airbrushing! The hair looks awesome and I love the background. Well framed, and I like the "I just found this in my great-grandmothers attic"-feel it gives off.
