...Ever wondered how raindows are created?NOT by Rainbow Dash actually! *shotforcopyingquotes*

Remember my last poll? Yeah, THIS is what I'm talking about!
Introducing Raidran, the rainbow dragon! the most colourful dragon chara I've ever created
and probably my favourite too.Raidran is one friendly, hyper and colourful dragon. He has the ability to burst the colours from his wings and spikes, leaving a beautiful rainbow trail as he flies away. He can either use only one of his wings, or both. (both wings = double rainbow~ ) With this ability, he can create rainbows anywhere and anytime, even without sunlight. But without sunlight his rainbows only last for quite short time.
But don't think that all his rainbows are harmless!
When outraged, he fires a powerful, rainbow-coloured beam to attack his foe. He can also flash the colours on his body, that may cause confusion, or even seizures.I think that's all about him for now.
Btw, I leave the critiques open. I really, REALLY need critiques to help me improve. So please, anyone... if you want to critique this, then do it. But if you can't, it's okay. Just leave a comment

I enjoy the personality of this dragon. He seems like that of a free spirit which makes me as a viewer, relate to him more on an emotional scale. Also with the way he is posed and all, I wonder and think to myself what could he be up to. Is he a mischievous dragon getting into trouble? Is he clever? Is he out-maneuvering humans as they give chase?

The color is good, but to me as a viewer it seems to be too much coming at once. My suggestion would be to at least tone down the color so that it does not distract the viewer away from the whole of the piece. I find my eyes keep on coming back to the wings more so than the dragon or even the background. I feel that once you subdue the color, it will stand out more in its own right.
Anyhow, this piece is wonderful and full of adventure and life. I sincerely hope you continue drawing dragons in the future and hope to see more from you e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="

The rainbow...
Ah... this picture brings back my memories of seeing the real rainbow. This picture is beautiful, just like the rainbow I last saw in my previous hometown. ^^ (even though I'm not into dragons, still 
By the way, how did you do the rainbows (the ones with glitter)? I always wanted to practice more and draw beautiful pictures.

I draw the rainbow manually with round brush, set the layer style into "soft light" so it blends with the background. You can also use the Smudge Tool to smoothen the rainbow

My colors are many-but not /as/ many...
Anyways, he looks great and I really like his character. The colors and textures are nifty but he is altogether two dimensional.
