  Hazel is always up for making a new friend. She would listen to their problems and try to comfort them, even trying to make them laugh when suitable. She's loving towards many and can get affectionate. She has quite the bubbly personality, despite her past and can get quite playful. Along with that, she can be quite chaotic in her organisation, unless it comes to crystals which she's very meticulous with. She can be quite impulsive, jumping into things without much thought, certainly when she gets impatient. She's also quite stubborn and mostly doesn't give people a chance to talk her out of her ideas.

History:
  ✭ Wren, a fae descendant had seen Hazel's father just once. They had spent a wonderfully romantic and passionate day, for him to never be seen again, sneaking out while she was sleeping. However, the woman had gotten pregnant with a daughter. She wasn't angry with the man, there was no spite. In fact she would look upon that day with fond memories. Hazel being her lasting gift and reminder of a man whose memory she would love more than she had ever loved the man himself.

  Hazel therefore grew up loved and spoiled by her mother, each night tales of her father being woven for her as a bed time story. The girl loved the stories of her father, believing every word her mother ever said about him. Even though, in reality, Wren had no idea what kind a man she had loved and was making up these tales as much for herself as her daughter.

  ✭ Wren had always been a witch. Therefore, she started raising her daughter to use magic as well. Not all witches have the same affinities and abilities though. And to find one's abilities, one would have to descend to a coven of choice. The mother had decided to go to the coven which she had left upon learning she was pregnant. Her old comrades welcomed them and were happy to help the young child find her affinity. Items were stalled out into a circle and the young girl was put in the middle of it. When she approached objects, they wouldn't react at all. Except for a certain crystal, which started to glow when she approached it. Hazel's affinity was found and she was trained accordingly.

  ✭ As a teen she was so curious about her father, she went out on an adventure all on her own, leaving her mom a note saying she was going to look for her father and bring him home, to her mom who loved him dearly and to his daughter he would come to know. Of course, Wren was worried and set up search parties and everything. But in the mean time Hazel trekked through the woods, to the place her mom said she had met her father. She found will-o-wisps that would show her the way. When she came to the place, she hid and waited to see if her dad would arrive. But instead she found something ghost like of some kind, however not completely. It seemed tangible. Wherever it put its feet nature seemed to wither away. This struck the girl. She didn't want the meeting spot of her mom and dad destroyed. She came out of hiding and started pulling out crystal to channel her magic and unleash her spells on the creature, trying not to get caught.

  At the moment Hazel was about to get struck, her mother showed up and intervened. She made her daughter step back and tried to take care of it herself. However, she got struck and withered away in front of her daughter. As tears brimmed from her eyes and she fell to her knees, holding her crumbling mother, she was mostly unaware of the figure that took down the creature. Struck by grief, but confused as to why she hadn't received her own fatal blow yet, she raised her eyes to see the creature fall and a masculine figure disappearing from the scene.

  Hazel right then and there decided to leave the ash, her mother had become, at this place. She had figured her mother would have wanted it that way. And after paying respects, she travelled home with the belief her father saved her and the disappointment he didn't stay to comfort her, meet her nor take her in. She went to the coven her mother used to belong to and was promptly taken in. Despite, she still insisted on going home every time to live in the space that was all she had left of her mother and their past.

  ✭ The girl had not given up on travelling, she was just trying to be ready. Which she is convinced is now. She should have departed a few years earlier on her rite to prove her worth, but better late than never.
