Description

When he was a child, his village was the target of a brutal dragon attack in which he lost both his parents and his left eye. Grieving the loss of his mother and father, he finds one of the guns left behind by the dragons - ever since, he has trained himself to use it in preparation for the day he's old enough to leave his home, seek vengeance, defeat ultimate evil...and so on. That is, unless he falls victim to...unforeseen side effects of having that thing strapped to his arm all day.

THAT'S RIGHT, WE'RE BACK, WE'RE CDC, WE'RE GAY, AND WE'RE SO FULL OF BEANS, YOU GUYS,
except this time here's the fuckin twist: this month is gonna be focused on RPG characters! pseudo inspired by those tabletop-related daily art challenges that have been floating around, but mostly just cause i like having a focus when coming up with designs, and i thought the setting of a high fantasy video game would both be real fun and also good practice at designing a wide variety of subjects! including people, LOTS of monsters, and as i've come to discover while building my buffer, lots of fuckin armor too lol. so i figured we'd start with our wacky adventuring party and then see where we go from there!

coming out of a long period of Not Drawing i struggled with this guy and i still think i like his concept better than how he actually turned out, so maybe a candidate for one of those redesign days later on? went for the classic edgy tragic backstory sword boy. you know the one. contains some influences from fire emblem, a game series i have never played. as the hero, he has appropriately balanced assets geared towards both physical and magical attacks

same as last year, everything's gonna be packaged up into one big adoptables batch and priced at the end of the month, so tune back for that in in 30 or so days!
