I thought the computer chair was mine. Meffi - and of course she's absolutely right - thinks it is hers. She was not amused after I tried to gently move her a bit just to give me some space at least.Finally I pushed her off the chair, quickly sat down, put the blanket on my legs, she came to my lap and the world was ok again.

Sounds just like my little man - I have a chaise lounge that is my main seat, and yet for all the space and a blanket just for him placed at the end, he insists on sleeping right where I usually sit. I get quite the scolding when I move him from the spot, but I am somewhat forgiven if I set him on my lap and he can use my foot as his new pillow (until he falls to deeply asleep and it slips off - then I get another round of scolding for not catching his royal highness

To be honest I'm really happy about Meffi being that way. When she was so sick that I thought I'd lose her, she didn't pay much interest. The years before that she only seemed to mourn the loss of her beloved Merlin. Now at almost 14 she's suddenly a lot like when she was a baby, mean and cuddly at the same time. I love it.
