A smaller variation of my wire woven octopuses, in this case around a lampwork bead. It comes on a hand crocheted wire rope.Sold.

I started my adventure with wire weaving aout a month ago...since then I've been learning mostly the basics just to move on to more advanced weaves like the grooved bezel one or double ladder , brick stitch etc etc. I havent tried the viking knit yet, although I'm familiar with it ( seen how its done ). And the options part yeah...I like to give myself as much of them as I can - experiment, even tho I have a specific idea in my mind for the format of jewellry I'll be making. But anyways : that's a cool piece you made there. Keep up the good work.

No specific format ideas for me. I like to play and experiment, and wire weaving is just one part of that, too.

It's nice to have different options for different looks - the techniques I mostly use for rope are wire crochet, knit, and I only just started with some Viking knit every, now and then, too
