Description Today me, and our friend Willy moved all of my stuff from one storage to another. One of the things we had to move was my animatronic Country Critters show, which was challenging considering these characters are around 7-8 feet tall and weigh hundreds of pounds each. Their bases are heavy and don't roll (oh how I envy people who own Creative Engineering bots!).

Here's Roxanne Rose, aka. Foxy Roxy in the new storage unit. Roxy was the easiest to move since she's the smallest (between 6 and 7 feet). Willy just propped her up on a dolly and rolled her into the elevator.

IN this shot, she looks a lot smaller.

I wish we knew more about Tex Critter's. Aside from the lack of ways to document stuff like this, I don't know why people didn't want to. There's so little of these bands actually recorded which is why finding anything on them is a miracle.

I can't remember the exact price, but it was just a little over $1000 for all three characters and the maintenance manual. They were originally owned by someone who bought the show from AVG, the company that made them and that person later abandoned them. They were saved from destruction by a couple of people and put on eBay. I ended up having to fly from San Diego to Spokane, WA with CountRamsely and we drove them back in a moving truck.

wow, that actually seems like such a low price for 3 animatronics.

It was! I figured people didn't want the hassle of having to pick them up.

These are amazing photos! You're super lucky to own the band! ;; Do you think they'll ever be restored to working condition? Or are you just hoping to get them back into good cosmetic condition? Either way, kudos!

The plan is to completely restore them. I'm going back this week to remove all of Cal's body shells for a deep clean and to do a full assessment of his insides!

That's awesome! I imagine it'll take a lot of hard work, but the end result will be worth it, especially for such a rare band.
