That quote says it all. In terms of character, she is what makes Mai bearable for me. If Mai's gonna be the extreme broody angst, then we need an extremely perky, upbeat and cutesy one to off shoot that. This is why the show is so well written---they know how to write characters dynamically and then integrate them in the story seamlessly. I dunno, that's just impressive to me.

Anyway, I usually hate the overly cute one in a story, but she's a trip! She's got that "Crouching Tiger/Wudan" pressure point style of fighting that actually had Katara not only beaten, but also demoralized. I would be too if I got schooled by a perky chick in pink Her crush on Sokka is also disgustingly adorable.

And she's super limber too
