i told panstu chan how i did it...warning long reply ahead..
Okay first i set the lineart to multiply then i made a overlay layer above the line art and i colored the hair outline dark pink i also did the same with the skin and clothes outlines then i made a multiply layer under the lineart and colored the skin reeal light and erased all the areas that were out side of the skin after that i made another multiply layer above the skin but under the lineart i colored it about pinkish light brown i messed with the shade until i got it the way i wanted it after that i worked on the hair i made another multiply layer above the skin shadow but under the lineart i colored the hair a lighter color of pink than the out lineand just colored manually by hand (i dont use the wand tool or paintbuckt it comes out weird so i only use the acrilyc brush) after that i worked on the clothes i made another multiply layer colored the shirt using the toner window and i colored it the color i wanted and (dont forget for every peice of clothes you do use a diffrent layer so they wont mix) then i went back and removed the base skin color and kept the shading .....now for the fun part for the pants i browesed DA under "green patterns " got the one i wanted and then downloaded i opened the patterns i wanted and used the select tool and then clicked ctrl +C then i went back to my original pic and did ctrl+ v and viola the pattern appeared (notice that each pattern is its own seperate layer ) i switched the pattern layer to multiply and then used the "move layer tool" and moved it where i wanted it on the pants then i switched to the lineart layer and used the magic wand tool out side the pants area then i went back to the pattern layer and erased the out side after that i unselected and erase the parts i missed ...(do that with every area you want to add a pattern to..) then when my picture was colored i made a multiply layer above the
lineart ( note with the new multiply layer there should be now 2 layers above your lineart nothing more) then i used the toner tool and selected the tone i wanted (i picked shells OvO
