Description
This is my favorite out of the archangel series. I represented Uriel as female to reflect the balance of male and female in creation. St Michael of course is male and so is Raphael, while traditionally Gabriel is female.This work was done in watercolor and ink pen.

I love the use of reds and pinks in this picture, though I do wish you had given a bit more information on Uriel's traditional attributes. Wasn't Uriel the angel who warned Noah of the Flood?

I wish I could mention more about Uriel but so much has been attributed to this angel that is attributed to other angels as well. Since Uriel is associated with purple, summer, and fire, I chose to stick to these symbols in my painting.
