The definition of Chaotic Good, this lad suits his name admirably. He acts as his conscience directs him with little regard for what others expect of him. He makes his own way, but he's kind and benevolent. He believes in goodness and right but has little use for your petty little laws and taboos. He will sometimes rely on others passions to drive him but he is also one to protect those around him and has the drive to do ‘good’ amongst the equine community (usually by giving them their ‘freedom’ through letting them escape with his quick witted trickery) and is a huge influence on other members of Invictus’ decisions and actions, this stallion has a lot of sway. Altair is definitely the conqueror of the equine industry, pushing to dominate the scene with his talents and his abilities, he puts his best into every single performance. Competing and fricking anything that walks within his peripheral are his top two. So, despite his admirable qualities, he will also definitely get rowdy over literally anything, so much so he could easily jump anything that walks. Hey, I guess he enjoys his job in between competing, although sometimes he can sometimes get a little too fixated on another animal in the arena and sometimes will be a little distracted whilst out competing, although this only usually happens for his first time out after a breeding season, or if he competes a day or two after covering. He also likes to put it all on display and show everyone just what he’s worth, usually when he’s just entering the warm up, arriving at the show grounds or has just walked past a nearby four-legged animal. But this doesn’t change his mindset for any more than the day or two after covering, after that, he’s all back to business (but he is also a believer of what’s work without play, so he sometimes offers demonstrations at certain events, but this is generally confined to announcements and parading) and Altair will then continuously put his everything back into competing, he doesn’t think about anything other than the task at hand when he is performing. Unless, perhaps, you just maybe happen to have a few Sour Patch Kids on hand or in your pocket. He’ll know before you do, like a bloodhound to a scent, this stallion will sniff out that sour sweetness and insist that they become his, for you may face the consequences of his constant pestering until you give in and give him what he wants. Outside of his career in fricking and competing, Altair can be quite the sweet stallion and is ever so easily handleable around the yard, beside from his prancing demeanour, he’s sensitive to handle and uncomplicated to deal with in daily life, but never does he forgo his versatility and passion in training, even if he isn’t doing his two favourite things in life. He behaves quite nicely in the stable but he certainly has his moments, generally if he’s amassed a large amount of fecal matter he will relish rolling in it till he is covered, and he normally does it when your watching. He also digs his bed to make himself comfortable, but usually keeps his stable immaculate (besides his rolling and playing habits).
He also enjoys having fizzy moments in both his field and stable, bucking, leaping into the air, legs everywhere before suddenly stopping and walking off like nothing happened. It has got to be a party trick of his.
