Endurance, Compassion and much more,
staring firm, proud, self-secure and strong,
fighting for a better world for all, selflessly, a monument tall.
What strikes me about this and similar works is the facial expression, which one (at least me) has to look at longer to see all there is, all the meaning.
Of course, the clothes, its patterns, the belt with those flowers, they go so well together, the hair, black waves rounding up the face, it builds all up, but the face itself remains the center.
My two cents here is that we need more stories of heroines, as it shows that courage, coherence, strength, wisdom and much more is not bound to what you are.
