Well, we call it The Butterfly House and it's like a huuuge greenhouse completely dedicated to butterflies, You go in and find thousands of tropical kinds flying freely in a recreated natural habitat with waterfalls and stuff like that, they get fresh fruit and honey every day

Ahh like a butterfly free-fly dome? I love those places~

Brilliant shot, by the way, the colors are awesome. What kinda camera did you use for this?

yep, free fly for the win, thanks for the compliment, I use a Nikon D7000 with a 55-300mm Nikkor camera lens <- or whatever the zoom part is called, i'm not too put in on the terms

This one would be a Blue Morpho - Morpho peleides also sometimes called the Common Morpho. It's a very lovely, big butterfly. It looks very good in this photo!

No problem! You are very welcome and it is really a great capture here. These often keep their wings closed when not flying, and when they do fly, they reflect light beautifully, but are so much harder to catch on a photo!

Yes I bet that wouldn't be possible for me, I'm kinda a beginner when it comes to photography but I hope that doesn't show in my pictures, the reason why the angle of this one is so simple is because i wanted to show the colors

Still! You have managed it here very well and I'm sure you will do other good works with the camera too.

To get even better, your best bet really it so practice, play and experiment with the camera (sometimes reading up what others have done in a certain situation is helpful too because it gives a different point of view or idea or something you have just not thought about!) and see what comes out. Keep up the good work !
